Default New keyboard .....opinions?

I am going to get a new keyboard to go along with my new Logitec g9 mouse I got for Christmas. I have narrowed it to 3 options. Logitec's G11 (don't care too much for the screen on the g15), Razor's Tarantula, or Ideazon's Stealth Merc. All three have their ups and downs so I can't decide. How I feel about each is:

G11 ---no complaints just don't like Logitec's clunky loud keys.

Razor's Tarantula --- heard a lot of people talk about unresponsive keys and poor craftsmenship?

Ideazon's Stealth --- Not sure if I like the fact of combining the delete/arrow keys with the number keys. I don't have a problem with w,s,a,d keys. Do I need a seperate game keypad? :-/

Any opinions or tech advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks guys.

I'd say go for the G11

I have a G15 and it's so awesome! The extra buttons off to the side work really well for binds or commands!

Tarantula is over rated. G11 all the way.

G11 or G15, the keys just feel more responsive and the backlight is one of the greatest things ever.

I currently have a Tarantula, and its OK (never really setup all the keys) but I am replacing it with a G11 (on order now). My main complaint with the Razer is that I can't see the keys in low light. I have to re-type so much that I decided to get one with back-lighting. Hope the G11 does well. I didn't realize how difficult it would be to see the black keys in low light.

I just use a basic semi-generic keyboard - a Benq x800 Internet Keyboard Pro (which I don't think they still make). I've never really had a use for all the "features" on the fancy keyboards, and I like the look and feel of this Benq. (It looks the same as the x805, but it's USB, wired.)

Another very nice keyboard is the Saitek Eclipse II. It's kind of a minimalist keyboard, though. If you're into a zillion different extra keys on your board, just ignore this post.

The keypad is a handy place to put the keys to change Ventrilo/Teamspeak channels or operate an mp3 player, etc..

The point in buying most of the more expensive keyboards is so that you can type "The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog." while holding down both the left and right shift. My numerous dell keyboards can't do it. Mainly, this allows for more simultaneous keypresses which is useful in gaming since are probably using wasd for movement, a button for crouching, jumping, weapon switching etc. AFAIK, the first two pass this test but I'm not sure about the Ideazon Stealth. The Saitek Eclipse II also passes this if I remember correctly though I can't test it just right now. However, if you are paying 30-40 more USD for just some LEDs for your keyboard, you really should rethink your purchase.

I don't recall if the gold standard "Model-M" keyboards could. I don't have one any longer unfortunately and unwilling to pay for a DAS or order from Unicomp. Granted, if you are complaining about Logitech's key noise, you probably don't want one of these.
